Sudomech Supply has extensive warehousing, forwarding and logistic facilities in Russia (St.Petersburg), in Finland (Kotka) and in Germany (Hamburg).

We offer you to reduce your company’s logistics costs by adding the bonded warehouse to your supply chain.

The bonded (customs) warehouse is a customs procedure under which the goods imported to the customs territory of the Russian Federation are stored in customs custody without payment of customs duties and taxes (for instance, VAT). The maximum term of storage of merchandise in a bonded warehouse is three years.

You would be able:

  • to have in-stock at the warehouse the full range of goods you sell in Russia without need to earn credit or to hold working capital for dutiable payments
  • to pay customs charges only for lots that you’ll need in near future
  • to return goods that were not sold to your foreign partner without payment of customs charges

If you’re using our warehouse facilities, you will noticeably reduce costs:

  • for storage of goods in ports of Finland, in Sea Port of St.Petersburg, at terminals (offices) of Saint-Petersburg or Excise Customs
  • for demurrage, by shortening the expensive container usage period. This accomplished by returning of empty container to port immediately after placing goods at bonded warehouse zone, not waiting for completion of customs procedures for arrived goods
  • for international shipment from any place, by getting the service at first hand. We can prepare all necessary documents, collect and consolidate goods and handle LCL (less than car load) lots.
  • by eliminating the unwanted handling of goods due to effective using of adjacent bonded and free-circulation warehouses. We keep track of quantities on hand of each product, keep records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including detailed warehouse reports of shipments received and disposed. Value-added services include sort, labeling etc.
  • for domestic forwarding of your goods, by utilizing our facilities for assembling the orders in the free-circulation warehouse and further delivering them to the address you have specified.

You can also avoid holding money to the value of exporting country’s VAT when you pay for goods to the supplier from EU-country against invoice with VAT on it.

We can provide high quality service utilizing our own warehouse complex and trucks.

Sudomech Supply owns the warehouse complex located in several all-brick buildings at the territory of 1-st District of Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg at responsibility area of Baltic customs. It consists of:

  • customs control permanent zone with storage space of 952.5 sq.m. adjacent to the bonded warehouse
  • bonded (customs) warehouse of open type with storage space of 3456.2 sq.m. and open storage area of 268 sq.m. for outsized cargo
  • free-circulation warehouse with storage space of about 3000 sq.m. for goods that have passed the customs clearance

If goods arrive by sea, you can deliver them to the warehouse by your transport or we can arrange the delivery for you utilizing the domestic customs transit procedure and under our guarantee, with the subsequent customs clearing at Baltic customs. We can also receive goods arrived from the land borders, with the subsequent customs clearing at Saint-Petersburg customs, in this case, you can deliver goods to the warehouse by your transport or you can use our transport. Our capabilities include tanker trucks, semi-trailers of 82 cub.m., container trucks, small delivery vans. All of our trucks have permits for international haulage of cargoes.

You can perform the customs clearing by yourselves (with our assistance if necessary), or if it is not possible or affordable for you, you can authorize us to perform customs clearing for you, acting as a customs broker (agent). We also can appraise the goods customs value basing on documentarily certified transaction price, assist you in obtaining permits and performing the certification of goods. You may use any convenient customs procedure:

  • bonded (customs) warehouse
  • release for domestic consumption (import)
  • export
  • re-export
  • international customs transit
  • relocation of stores
  • inward processing
  • destruction

For fast customs clearing of goods arrived in Russia if no storage is required, we can perform customs clearing immediately, not placing goods at bonded warehouse in that case.

We can arrange the distribution of your goods from the free-circulation warehouse using our own transport. According to your directions, we will take products and goods from inventory, package them and deliver them to the location your specified.

We also offer you the comprehensive cargo handling service (consolidation of goods, storage, arranging of shipment etc.) using our own trucks and warehouse of Allotrans Oy, located in Kotka, Finland. The warehouse has the VAT number and Tax Warehouse Authorisation, i.e. the EU Tax Commission authorization for purchasing goods from the consignor in EU countries with a zero rate of VAT with the obligation to export that goods out of EU.
